Governor’s Message

ちょうどこのニュースレターのタイミングでcovid-19ウィルス感染症対策で日本中が大騒ぎとなっています。各医療機関でお勤めの方は対応に追われていることとお察しします。何とか無事に武漢で起きたような医療崩壊につながる感染爆発を起こさずに山を越せることを祈っています。

このあと4月23日～25日には米国ロサンジェルスでIMM2020が予定されています。米国内では現時点で市中感染はカリフォルニアの一例だけですが潜在的には広がっている可能性があり、CDCも市中でクラスター感染が起きるようなら会議やスポーツイベントを中止するよう勧告したりテレワークや学校休校を勧めると表明(注：CNNが報道)しているようですから、まだ予断は許しません。また、6月には京都で日本支部総会開催を予定しています。その頃にはもうcovid-19感染症も沈静化していて海外からの講演者の先生方も安心してお出で頂ける環境になっているよう、強く望みます。

その支部総会ではACP本部からの招待講演者（現在未定）の講演、本部の総会での人気セッション「泥棒市場(Thieves’ Market)」（興味ある症例を提示して、キーパッドを利用して質問をしながら最終的に病名を当てるセッション）を日本で初めてやってくださるDavid Scrase先生、さらにインドとバングラデシュからの招待講演者もお出でになります。もちろん国内の先生方による様々なセッションもSPCの濱口委員長と委員の先生方が知恵を絞って興味あるテーマのセッションを企画中です。他にもHPPC, WC (Women’s C), CMC, RFC, IEPCなど様々な委員会の委員の先生方も協力して下さっています。この場をお借りして皆様に御礼申し上げます。
