About COI
All presenters have to file a COI (Conflict of Interest) declaration for their presentations. Please see the details for the COI declaration procedure on the day of your presentation here.
Method of presentation
- Please keep your presentation time to 12 minutes (7 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions) and cooperate in the smooth operation of the event.
- The PCs provided at the venue are Windows PCs.
- Microsoft PowerPoint is used for the presentation; if you have created your slides on a Mac, we recommend that you submit them in PDF format.
- *File formats: ppt, pptx, pdf
- *File size: up to 10.0 MB
- *Video and audio files cannot be used.
- Please use the fonts that come standard with your operating system. We recommend using the following fonts to avoid screen layout corruption.
- *Japanese: MS Gothic, MSP Gothic, MS Mincho, MSP Mincho
- *English: Arial, Century, Century Gothic, Times New Roman
- *Using fonts other than those listed above may cause problems such as misalignment of characters and paragraphs, garbled characters, and characters that are not displayed.
- Slides for oral presentations will be projected on a single screen (4:3).
- Due to the progression of the session and the space available on the podium, the PowerPoint presenter’s tool is not available. If you need a presentation manuscript, please bring a copy printed in advance.
- Presenters are requested to operate the PCs at the podium on their own. Please come to the next presenter’s seat (at the front left side of each room) at least 10 minutes before your presentation.
How to submit your presentation data
- Presentation data must be uploaded in advance. We will send an email notification to presenting authors by late September through the system (Confit) for abstract submission.
- Uploading period: Tuesday, October 15, 2024 to Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 12:00 noon
- There will be no extension of the deadline. Please be sure to register well in advance. Please note that you may modify your submitted data during the upload period, but not after the deadline.
- Please be sure to perform virus check yourself beforehand.
- The secretariat will completely erase all presentation data received after the Annual Meeting.
