1. Eligibility

• Main presenter for any regular presentations (including those in English presentation sessions)
• Held membership for the Japanese Society of Public Health for less than 15 years at the time of Mar. 31^st, 2024 (Sun).

2. Applicable Presentations

All regular presentations at the 83^rd annual meeting of Japanese Society of Public Health (including those in English presentation sessions)

3. How to Apply

Please register and submit your abstract at the 83^rd annual meeting of Japanese Society of Public Health homepage. Select “Yes” under the “Excellent Presentation Award” section.

4. Application Timeline

Apr. 1^st (Mon.) ~ May 24^th (Fri.) May 31^st (Fri.), 2024

5. Selection Process

The 83^rd annual meeting of Japanese Society of Public Health Academic Committee will select multiple candidates based on the submitted abstracts. Selected participants will proceed to give an oral presentation at the Excellent Presentation Award Contest during the conference. The Selection Committee will then select the final awardees for the Excellent Presentation Award.
Please note that regardless of the presentation format you applied during abstract submission, your presentation format will automatically be converted to oral presentation if you are selected to present at the Excellent Presentation Award Contest. Also, if you are selected to present at the Excellent Presentation Award Contest, you will no longer be presenting at the regular presentation.

6. Awardee Announcement and Awarding Ceremony

Final awardees will be announced and presented the award at the networking event on Oct. 30^th (Wed.).
Those selected to present in the Excellent Presentation Award Contest are invited to the networking event free of charge.
