要旨：
医学教育者の次世代育成が強調される一方で，比較的若い世代の医師が，多忙な臨床業務の合間に日頃から医学教育学の知見を深める場を得ることは難しい．生涯学習の方略としてジャーナルクラブがあるが，質の担保されたジャーナルクラブ運営・維持することは困難である．我々は，全国の異なる機関に所属する卒後9～12年目の勤務医で医学教育オンラインジャーナルクラブを立ち上げた．対面でも継続的な実施が難しいと言われる中，我々はオンラインで1年間に40回以上開催し，多様なテーマの論文を用い，継続できた．なぜそのような実践が可能であったのかをsocial congruence theoryと自己決定理論とを引用し考察した．

Abstract:
While there is an emphasis on fostering the next generation of medical educators, it is difficult for the younger generation to find opportunities to deepen their knowledge of medical education regularly amid their busy clinical work. Using journal clubs is a strategy for lifelong learning in the professional field; yet, it is difficult to operate and maintain one. We established an online journal club for medical education and research with 9- to 12-year post-graduates from different institutions across Japan. While it is generally said that even face-to-face journal clubs are difficult to sustain, we were able to hold more than 40 online meetings in one year. We discussed why our approach was feasible, citing social congruence theory and self-determination theory.

要旨：
医学教育においてプロフェッショナリズム教育は重要なテーマの一つだが，その教育や評価は困難である．そのため，プロフェッショナリズム教育における特に評価の観点から，観察可能な「行動behavior」に焦点をあて，アンプロフェッショナルな行動として捉え直す議論が2000年頃から北米を中心に活発化している．本稿では，国内の動向も交えつつ，アンプロフェッショナルな行動についての分類，評価，対応に関する概念を整理し，関連した概念について啓蒙するとともに，本邦の文脈に即した研究の促進を目指す．また，その適切な対応を通して，より社会の要請に耐える医学生・医師の育成に繋がることを期待したい．

Abstract:
Teaching professionalism is one of the most important themes in medical education, but difficulties remain regarding teaching and assessment. From the perspective of professionalism assessment discussions have focused on observable “behaviors” and redefining them as unprofessional behaviors has been growing since around 2000, especially in North America.
This paper summarizes the concepts related to classification, assessment, and remediation of unprofessional behavior, including Japanese trends. It also aims to enlighten the public on concepts related to unprofessional behavior and to promote research that is relevant to the Japanese context. Through appropriate management of unprofessional behavior, we hope to foster medical students and doctors who can better withstand the demands of society.

要旨：
利益相反とは，「主要な利益（primary interest）に関する専門職としての動機，判断，行動が，副次的な利益（secondary interest）によって不当に影響を受ける可能性が発生する一連の状況」と定義される．2002年の米欧合同「新ミレニアムにおける医のプロフェッショナリズム：医師憲章」におけるプロフェッショナルとしての10の責務には「利害の衝突の管理により信頼を維持する責務」があるが，わが国の利益相反教育は十分ではない．本稿では，医学部での製薬会社の製品説明パンフレットの読み方を通じた利益相反教育と，教育病院での製薬会社と医療専門職の金銭的利益相反に関する講演会を紹介する．

Abstract:
Conflict of interest is defined as “a set of circumstances in which professional motives, judgments, and actions regarding a primary interest may be unduly influenced by a secondary interest”. Professionalism in the New Millennium: A Physician’s Charter in 2002 includes “the responsibility to maintain trust by managing conflicts of interest”. In this paper we describe practical examples of the education about conflicts of interest in medical schools through the reading of pharmaceutical companies’ product information brochures, and of a lecture on financial conflicts of interest between pharmaceutical companies and medical professionals in a teaching hospital.
