ISID Collegiality Awards - TSID/ JSID -

Who is Eligible?

  1. A member of the JSID who is currently active in investigative dermatology at a university department, laboratory, or other institution in Japan, and whose membership fee has been fully paid.
  2. Under age 40 as of 17 October 2026.
  3. Not a professor
  4. Submission of an abstract for TSID Annual Meeting
  5. The past awardee of the ISID Collegiality Awards (Young Fellow Collegiality Awards) or ISID APAC Friendship Awards will not be accepted.

What are the Benefits?

  1. Nominees prepare an 8-minute oral presentation followed by a 4-minute discussion.
  2. The TSID will offer a 3-day complimentary accommodation, gala dinner, and waive the conference registration fee. Moreover, each nominee will be offered a flat honorarium of USD 1,000 for the speech and travel expense.

The JSID plans to offer up to 2 awards

How do I apply for an award?

  1. Make sure you submit an abstract for the 2026 TSID meeting in Taipei, Taiwan.
    (Deadline: 18 September 2026; see TSID website for details : https://tsidmeeting.org.tw/)
  2. Apply by e-mail to the JSID. (office2@jsid.org)
    (Deadline for applications: 18 September 2026)
    *Make sure to put "2026 ISID Collegiality Awards - TSID/ JSID - " in the subject box. The Applicant will be informed when JSID office receives the applications.

Applications should include:

  1. One-page CV
  2. A copy of the abstract submitted for the TSID meeting
  3. A list of publications (papers in English)
  4. Recommendation letter from the chairman of an affiliation

Note: Please prepare all application documents in English. Submit as a PDF file including a to d.

Who will judge the applications?

The judging panel will comprise 4 representatives of the JSID.
