ISID APAC Friendship Awards
ISID APAC was established in 2025, bringing together ISID member societies from the Asia-Pacific region. Current participating societies include KSID, TSID, ASDR, SRSS, and JSID. The inaugural ISID APAC Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with the 2026 KSID Annual Meeting in Seoul, Korea.
To encourage broader participation, particularly among young researchers, we have newly established a travel grant program titled "ISID APAC Friendship Awards". This grant supports attendance at the annual meeting of the society hosting the ISID APAC Annual Meeting.
Please note that when the ISID APAC Friendship Awards are offered, the Collegiality Awards will not be conducted.
(Accordingly, the 2026 ISID Collegiality Award – KSID/JSID – will not be open for applications.)

What are the Benefits?
- The KSID will waive the registration fee for the Annual Meeting and invite awardees to social events.
- The JSID will provide JPY 100,000 as a travel grant.
Who is Eligible?
- Applicant must be JSID member who is engaged in dermatological research at a university, research institute, or an equivalent institution in Japan, and whose membership fee has been fully paid.
- Under age 40 as of April 9, 2026. However, reasonable exceptions may be made for circumstances such as maternity/paternity leave or delayed academic entry.
- Participation in the 2026 ISID-APAC Annual Meeting (held in conjunction with the KSID AnnualMeeting) is mandatory.
- Submission of an abstract (including late-breaking abstracts) for the 2026 KSID Annual Meeting (April 9–11, 2026, Seoul, Korea).
- The past awardees of the ISID Collegiality Awards, Young Fellow Collegiality Awards, Intersociety Awards, or ISID APAC Friendship Awards are not eligible.

Required Documents
- CV (free format)
- A copy of the abstract submitted for the 2026 KSID Annual Meeting
- Recommendation letter from the chairman of ab affiliation (in Japanese is acceptable; free format; must include handwritten signature)
*All application documents, except for item 3, must be prepared in English and submitted together as a single PDF file named after the applicant's full name.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by the judging panel composed of the JSID President, Secretary-General, Chair of the Scientific Committee, and Chair of the Nomination Committee.
If the number of applicants exceeds the available awards, selection will be based on the submitted abstracts.
Notification of Results
The JSID aims to announce the names of the successful applicants by the end of January 2026.
