About the Journal (Aims and Scope)
Medical Education (Japan) is the official journal of the Japan Society for Medical Education and an international peer-reviewed journal. It publishes research papers dealing not only with medical education for doctors and medical students, but also with the development of medical professionals more broadly and aims to exchange information that is useful to society members. Most submissions are in Japanese, but submissions in English are also possible. Submissions from overseas are also welcome. While the journal focuses on raising the level of global standards in education, it also values region-specific developments in medical education. We welcome submissions of papers on topical themes in medical education worldwide and on developments of such themes in different countries.
