支部長挨拶

支部長の任期3年目となりました。2023-2027年の任期中の目標の「多様性の推進」、「予防医療の推進」、「教育科学に基づいた連続性のある卒前、卒後、生涯教育の実践」を進めております。この3つの柱を”ホップ、ステップ、ジャンプ”と段階的に確実に実行して参ります。

ACP日本支部の年次総会・講演会は、ACP日本支部の顔であり、プロフェッショナルとしてのあり方、提言などを体現する重要な機会と認識しております。2024年末に発足した年次総会講演会運営委員会Annual Meeting Organizing Committee (AMOC)では、引き続き財務の安定と持続性に向けて活動しております。また2026年6月27-28日開催の年次総会講演会では、Scientific Program Committee (SPC)委員長・大会長に牧石徹也先生が就任され、京都大学での開催となります。牧石先生率いるSPC委員の皆様と協力し準備しております。これまで同様に総合内科の真髄を体現し、かつ学術的に質の高い多くのセッションを実現して参ります。今回のプレナリーとして、ACP本部から教育熱心な先生方が参加される予定です。多くの皆様に、古巣の京都で対面でお会いできますことを楽しみにしております。

Governor’s Statement for the ACP Japan Chapter Annual Conference 2026

I am now in the third year of my term as Governor (2023–2027). During this period, I have been pursuing three major goals: promoting diversity, advancing preventive medicine, and implementing continuous education across undergraduate, postgraduate, and lifelong learning based on educational science. These three pillars are being carried out step by step, in the spirit of “Hop, Step, and Jump,” to ensure steady progress.

The Annual Meeting of the ACP Japan Chapter represents the face of our Chapter. It is an important opportunity to embody professionalism, share our vision, and make meaningful proposals. Since its establishment at the end of 2024, the Annual Meeting Organizing Committee (AMOC) has been actively working toward financial stability and sustainability.

Looking ahead, the Annual Meeting in Kyoto on June 27–28, 2026, will be led by Professor Tetsuya Makiishi from Shimane University, who will serve as both Meeting Chair and Chair of the Scientific Program Committee (SPC). Together with the SPC members under his leadership, we are preparing to deliver numerous high-quality scientific sessions that embody the essence of general internal medicine.

We are also honored to welcome dedicated educators from ACP Headquarters as plenary speakers. I very much look forward to seeing many of you again in Kyoto, the historical home of our Chapter, and to sharing this important event with you in person.
