私はPQJ事務局長として以下の開会式スピーチを行いました。
Welcome to PQJ, everyone.
I’m Kaneaki Inoue, the PQJ Secretary-General and an internal medicine doctor.
Today, we are honored to welcome 365 students, 99 teams from 16 countries around the world to PQJ Online 2024. We have teams from Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe, including the defending champions from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. Congratulations to all of you for participating in PQJ!
When we look at the world over the past few years, events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the Israel-Gaza war, and the Israel-Lebanon conflict have resulted in a significant number of casualties. Each time, healthcare professionals from around the globe have united to respond to these crises.
While one of the goals of PQJ is to determine the world’s No.1 in knowledge of medical physiology, the more important goal is to connect healthcare students worldwide.
Through this quiz competition, you will not only gain valuable knowledge from your competitors but also learn to respect their dedication and build invaluable connections with them.
I hope your experience at PQJ marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of international medical collaboration.
