原田研究室配属の4年生が卒業しました。
昨年1年間掛けて、それぞれの研究テーマに取り組んだ6人が卒業されました。看護学生の実習時のストレスとコーピングについて研究したグループは、アンケート調査に取り組み、コーピングスタイルに沿った実習時の教員側のサポートについて、新しい知見を示してくれました。アサーティブコミュニケーションスキルの介入研究に取り組んだグループは、何度も介入セッションのリハーサルで私からのダメ出しにも負けずに、分かりやすいアサーティブスキルの教育セッションの構築に取り組んでくれました。
統合実習では西日本豪雨災害が起きた真備で、被災された医療機関、国土交通省、地域の方々から、当時から今に至る医療サービスの変遷と、コミュニティの変化について学ばれました。
これらの経験が彼女達のこれからの長い看護職としてのキャリアに、少しでも貢献する事を祈っています。
Students in their fourth year at Nahoko Lab have successfully graduated. A total of six students, each focusing on their individual research topics, completed their studies. One group investigated stress and coping mechanisms among nursing students during practical training, conducting a survey that offered new insights into how faculty support can be tailored to align with students’ coping strategies. Another group conducted an intervention study on assertive communication skills, developing an easy-to-understand training session on assertiveness despite facing challenges during multiple intervention session rehearsals.
During the integrated training, participants learned from affected medical institutions, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and local residents in Mabi, where a torrential rain disaster occurred in western Japan. They gained knowledge about the evolution of medical services since the disaster and the community’s transformation over time.
We trust that these experiences will contribute to the students’ long and successful careers in the nursing field.
