Lab tour
A tour to Makoto Miyata's Laboratory (Osaka Metropolitan University) is planned after the congress upon request. Participation is free of charge.
Social program
Welcome Reception
Welcome Reception will be held on 16th July, from 18:00 (6:00 p.m.) at the congress hall (OSAKA CITY CENTRAL PUBLIC HALL).
The fee for the Welcome Reception is included in the registration fee. Accompanying persons are also welcome to attend for 3,000 yen. Food, beverages, and alcohol will be served.
Flash talks (brief self-introductions and research introductions) by attendees are planned.
Banquet
Congress Banquet will be held at TEN-NOU-DEN, a traditional Japanese-style restaurant with a garden that you can see from the long corridor. The fee for the congress banquet is 12,000 yen per person, which is not included in the registration fee. Accampany persons are also welcome.
A Foreign Minister's Dinner at the G20 SUMMIT 2019 was held here.
Some of Local organizing committee members visited TEN-NOU-DEN with Dr. Steven J. Geary (the chair of IOM), and we reallly enjoyed foods and atmosphere.
Water bus tour
Water bus tour is scheduled during the convention. You can enjoy the view of Osaka from the river. The fee is included in the registration fee. Accompanying persons are also welcome to attend for 2,000 yen.
