〈感想〉
3回目のビブリオバトルにしてようやく緊張よりも楽しさが大きくなってきました。今までは娯楽目的でしか読書をしておらず、読んだ後は「面白かった/あまり面白くなかった」だけで終わっていました。しかし、ビブリオバトルで本を紹介するにあたって、自分はこの本のどこを魅力的に感じたのか、本を読んでどのようなことを考えたかなどを振り返るようになりました。読んで終わりではなくそこから考えることによって気づきが増え、単なる娯楽としての読書を超えた自分の身になる読書ができるようになったと感じています。また、発表後に行う質疑応答でも、自分とは別の視点から質問をされることでさらに考えが深まるとともに、ひとつの質問から話が広がっていく楽しさがあります。ビブリオバトルの回数を重ねるごとに、自分のためになる読書の面白さや他の人と感想を共有する楽しさを感じています。話し方はまだまだ未熟なため、よりわかりやすく考えを伝えられるように頑張っていきたいと思います。

Impressions
This was my third BiblioBattle, and finally, the enjoyment has outweighed the nervousness. Up until now, I primarily read books for entertainment and ended up simply saying, “that was interesting/not so interesting.” However, when I introduced a book during a BiblioBattle, I began to reflect on what I found appealing about the book and my thoughts after reading it. By considering the book rather than just reading it, I have gained more insight, and I feel that I am now able to read for my own personal benefit, not just for entertainment.
Additionally, during the Q&A session following the presentations, participants are asked questions from various perspectives, which deepens their thinking, and it’s enjoyable to see how the conversation expands from a single question. The more I participate in BiblioBattles, the more I appreciate the fun of reading for myself and the pleasure of sharing my thoughts with others. Since my speaking skills are still developing, I want to do my best to convey my thoughts more understandably.
