〈感想〉
私はビブリオバトルに参加したのは今回が初めてでした。正直なところ、始める前は緊張していて、迷った挙句台本まで用意して、本番ではそれを読み上げる形になってしまったのですが、いざ始めてみるととても楽しくて、これも言いたい、あれも言いたい！でも台本があるから下手に言葉を重ねられないなあと頭の中で思っていたくらいです。次はしっかり読み込んで、良さを皆さんに口頭でもアピールできるようにしておきたいと思います。
また、大学生になってから、時間はあったはずなのに本に触れる機会がめっきりと減ってしまっていたことに気付いてはいたのですが、その習慣のままでいました。しかし、今回このような学びの機会をいただき、自分がいつも読んでいるような本だけではなくて、手に取らないような本を読んでみたり、皆さんの話を聞き、知らなかった言葉をもっと知りたいという意欲がわいてきたりと、とても有意義な時間を過ごすことができました。今後もビブリオバトルの回数を重ねていくにつれて、自分が読んだ本から得た学びや、他の方の発表でのその方の考え方や学びを通して、新しい知識を得て、自分の考え方を深め、成長させていきたいと思います。

Impressions
This was my first time participating in a BiblioBattle. To be honest, I was nervous beforehand, and after hesitating, I even prepared a script and ended up reading it aloud during the event! However, I realized that having a script actually restricted my ability to convey everything I wanted to say. Next time, I’d like to familiarize myself with the script to effectively share my enthusiasm for the book.
I also noticed that since becoming a university student, I’ve had fewer opportunities to read books, even though I’ve had plenty of time. However, this BiblioBattle allowed me to spend a meaningful time reading not only my usual books but also ones I wouldn’t typically pick up. Listening to others’ stories and learning from their perspectives motivated me to broaden my horizons. As I continue participating in more BiblioBattle events, I hope to gain new knowledge, deepen my thinking, and grow through learning from the books I read and the presentations of others.
