The doctor in charge will check your information and consult with a doctor at an appropriate department.Please prepare your medical records and data translated in Japanese (or English) upon doctor’s request.
- General instruction to consultation
Click and read though the instruction on the right before you visit Kyushu University Hospital. You will not be able to see a doctor unless you agree with all the contents.
We will contact you once we make an appointment for your first visit.
We may recommend you a second opinion outpatient clinic depending on conditions.

[Notes]: ■ Provide Japanese phone number we can contact if you are in a hurry.; ■ You cannot schedule examinations in advance.; ■ We cannot tell about the possibility of treatment and diagnosis in advance.; ■ Arrange VISA and a flight on your own.

Visit the hospital
On the day of your first visit, please make sure to bring your photo ID, i.e., passport, to the Hospital.
Registration
Please register at the information desk.
Consultation
Please wait at the reception of your department after registration.
Payment
When your "Daily Number" is displayed on the accounting display monitor, please take the “check-in slip" and make payments at the Cashier or the Automatic Payment Machine.

[Notes]: ■ Please understand that it may take more than half a day, including time for examinations, etc.

Payment must be made in Japanese Yen. We accept cash and credit card.
(Please check your credit limit before coming to Japan.)

[Notes]: ■ Please make a payment at Reception No.5 or a fee adjustment machine.; ■ Debit card is acceptable
[IMPORTANT] Travel and Medical Insurance: ■ Our hospital does not bill insurance companies directly. All medical expenses will be billed to the patient himself/herself. Patients must pay the hospital in advance and then file a claim with their own insurance company.
