J-MICC Kyoto Study

The J-MICC Kyoto Study, with approximately 6,000 participants living mainly in Kyoto Prefecture, is an occupational and population-based cohort study to reveal the risk factors for healthy life expectancy and lifestyle-related diseases, such as atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and dementia.

Takashima Study (Takashima Cohort Study)

The Takashima Cohort Study with approximately 6,000 participants living in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture is a population-based cohort study to reveal the risk factors for healthy life expectancy and lifestyle-related diseases, such as stroke, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), cancer, diabetes, and dementia.
