A new study from the Mikuni Group has been published in Nature Communications. In this research, the team developed a groundbreaking technique called “Single-Cell Synaptome Mapping,” which enables comprehensive visualization of synaptic identity across an entire individual neuron. This innovation is expected to advance our understanding of how the brain processes information during learning and memory, as well as shed light on synaptic abnormalities associated with neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders such as autism and dementia.
Congratulations!
