britons are kinder people than americans; they have accepted me to one course offered in the ucl. now i have to get 7.5 band in the ielts test. i've been to the british council in osaka to prepare for the next ielts test.
i've been reading the japan times for a week or two. it takes much time to read it through. keeps me pretty busy.

I have a feeling that I've finally got a hay fever. My nose runs, and my throat aches a little.
Recently I have picked up a habit of reading English-language newspapers. This is very good because I can learn English and what is going on around the world. I have learned a lot since I began reading papers daily.
However, the problem with this habit is that it takes many hours to read through a newspaper. Actually, yesterday it took me four hours to read the day's paper. I must either be quick reading a paper or quit reading it daily, for I cannot spend much time on my specialty if I use four hours to read a newspaper.
I have also picked up a habit of listening to the radio via the Internet. I found this Planet Rock Radio Station in the UK the other day, and they simply play the good old rock music on and on. I must admit that I love this radio station so much that once I tune to this station I cannot study at all.
So due to various causes, my main study has been suspended for nearly one month. Help.
very busy these days. writing papers. i cannot get enough sleep. wish i could write better papers. my writing and thoughts are such a mess. need to think clearly first of all.
spring is coming but it is still quite cold in the night.
i have learned some british words, such as lovely, indeed, ta, knickers (which sounds like niggers) and so on.
a few days ago i noticed cherry trees were starting to blossom. that means another school year is coming.
so many things to do. i cannot get enough sleep.
hmm, this way of writing doesn't seem to improve my writing ability. i'd better write about more serious things. perhaps next time.
i started to run a bbs site of my own, to which hardly anybody but me has written messages so far. currently i'm writing in english, so those rare people who got interested, see this page.
