Day Three: Oku-Matsushima

[lily]

[A Picture of Lily]

It was a very sunny day after the typhoon.

Lucky it was very sunny.

The boat used to pass under the arch-shaped rock, but owing to the recent earthquakes a part of rock came down in the middle of the path, which now prevents the boats from going through.

[Wanko 2]

[Wanko 2]

Got wet in the mouth during the boat trip and was a bit upset.

Contemplating the sea.

The notice board says `Look out! Don't fall, it's dangerous.'

Slightly funny since the warning seems to be stating the obvious.

I suppose its intended meaning is `Don't jump off for fun, it's dangerous.'

[ohtakamori]

[Ohtakamori]

View from Ohtakamori (hill in Miyato Island), looking down the Matsushima area.

[ohhama]

[Ohhama]

A beach in Miyato Island.

Another beach, less crowded, more beautiful.

[promenade]

[Promenade]

A view from `Sagakei Promenade' -- more like a hiking course, actually.
