First, software practices and principles should become a core part of biostatistics curricula, regardless of the degree (under- or postgraduate) or subject (biostatistics, public health, or epidemiology). Given that students will have to write code when they perform analyses as practicing investigators, we question why so few degree programs in quantitative medical science teach good coding practice.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u6559\u5ba4\u5185\u3067\u3001\u7d71\u8a08\u89e3\u6790\u306e\u30b3\u30fc\u30c9\u3092\u30d4\u30a2\u30ec\u30d3\u30e5\u30fc\u3059\u3079\u304d\u3060\u3068\u3044\u3046\u304c\u3001\u6559\u5ba4\u5185\u306b\u3044\u308b\u306e\u304b\u306a\u81ea\u5206\u4ee5\u5916\u3067\u30b3\u30fc\u30c9\u304c\u308f\u304b\u308b\u4eba\u304c\uff1f\u3000\u4eee\u306b\u3044\u305f\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u4ed6\u4eba\u306e\u66f8\u3044\u305f\u30d7\u30ed\u30b0\u30e9\u30e0\u3092\u8aad\u3080\u306e\u306f\u304b\u306a\u308a\u53b3\u3057\u3044\u3002\u305d\u308c\u3088\u308a\u3001\u30c0\u30d6\u30eb\u30d7\u30ed\u30b0\u30e9\u30df\u30f3\u30b0\u3057\u3066\u7b54\u3048\u5408\u308f\u305b\u3059\u308b\u65b9\u304c\u73fe\u5b9f\u7684\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

Second, statistical code should undergo intramural peer review. Colleagues should routinely share code to receive constructive criticism just as they share drafts of scientific papers.<\/p>\n

<\/u>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/u>\u81ea\u5206\u81ea\u8eab\u304c\u300c\u30a8\u30ec\u30ac\u30f3\u30c8\u300d\u3060\u3068\u601d\u3046\u3088\u3046\u306a\u7dba\u9e97\u306a\u30b3\u30fc\u30c9\u306f\u3001\u304a\u305d\u3089\u304f\u4ed6\u4eba\u304b\u3089\u898b\u3066\u610f\u5473\u4e0d\u660e\u3067\u3001\u4f55\u3067\u3053\u308c\u3067\u6b63\u3057\u3044\u7b54\u3048\u304c\u51fa\u308b\u306e\u304c\u4e0d\u601d\u8b70\u306a\u3084\u3064\u306b\u306a\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\uff08\u3068\u601d\u3046\uff09\u3002\u82e5\u5e72\u5197\u9577\u3067\u3082\u3001\u4f55\u3092\u3084\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u304b\u89e3\u308a\u3084\u3059\u3044\u307b\u3046\u304c\u5f8c\u65e5\u306e\u30c7\u30d0\u30c3\u30af\u3084\u5b66\u7fd2\u7528\u306b\u306f\u5411\u3044\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Finally, code associated with published research should be archived. Doing so would not only improve transparency and reproducibility but also help to ensure that investigators write better-quality code…. We believe well-written code has more than cosmetic value and that dirty code may lead to scientific errors.<\/p>\n
