(もーぜのじっかい Ten Commendments, Decalogue)

The Seven Commandments

1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
3. No animal shall wear clothes.
4. No animal shall sleep in a bed.
5. No animal shall drink alcohol.
6. No animal shall kill any other animal.
7. All animals are equal.

The New 10 Commandments

1. Treat other people as you want to be treated yourself
2. Love and protect your family
3. Don't discriminate on grounds of race, gender or sexual orientation
4. Listen
5. Look after the environment
6. Put something back into the community
7. Don't speak ill of the living
8. Be true to yourself
9. Say thank you
10. Work hard

イスラエルの預言者モーゼ(モーセ)が、 エジプトから逃げる途中にシナイ山にて神から授かった十の掟(おきて)。 旧約聖書の出エジプト記(Exodus)第20章、 および申命記(Deuteronomy)第5章にある。

内容は以下の通り。

1. わたし以外の神を信仰してはだめ
2. 偶像崇拝はだめ
3. 神の名をみだりに唱えてはだめ
4. 日曜は休みなさい
5. 両親をうやまいなさい
6. 殺人はだめ
7. 姦淫もだめ
8. 窃盗もだめ
9. 隣人について偽証してはだめ
10. 隣人のものをむやみに欲しがってはだめ
