本大会に投稿された全演題の抄録を自然言語処理（NLP）パイプラインで解析し、学会ロゴマークのシルエット上にワードクラウドとして可視化しました。文字の大きさは出現頻度を反映しており、本大会の研究トレンドを一目でご覧いただけます。network, fMRI, connectivity, brain activityといったキーワードが大きく表示され、脳ネットワーク・脳結合研究が本大会の中核をなしていることがわかります。加えて、language, hippocampus, ADHD, sleep, tractography, marmosetsなど、高次脳機能から臨床、非ヒト霊長類研究まで幅広いトピックが集結しています。

方法

本パイプラインでは、日本語抄録をニューラル機械翻訳モデル（Helsinki-NLP/opus-mt-ja-en）で英語に変換した上で、生物医学文献に特化したNLPライブラリSciSpaCyにより専門用語を自動抽出しています。品詞制約（名詞・固有名詞のみ）とカスタマイズ可能な外部ストップワードリストにより、各研究の本質的なキーワードのみを抽出しました。解析パイプラインのソースコードはGitHubで公開しています。

All abstracts submitted to this meeting were analyzed using a natural language processing (NLP) pipeline and visualized as a word cloud projected onto the JHBM logo silhouette. Word size reflects frequency of occurrence, providing an at-a-glance overview of the research landscape at JHBM2026.
Prominent keywords such as network, fMRI, connectivity, and brain activity highlight brain network and connectivity research as central themes of this meeting. The cloud also reveals the breadth of topics represented – from language, hippocampus, and sleep to ADHD, tractography, and marmosets – spanning higher cognitive functions, clinical neuroscience, and non-human primate research.

Methods

Japanese abstracts were first translated into English using a neural machine translation model (Helsinki-NLP/opus-mt-ja-en), then processed with SciSpaCy, a biomedical NLP library, to extract domain-specific terminology. Part-of-speech constraints (nouns and proper nouns only) combined with a customizable external stopword list ensure that only substantive research keywords are represented.
