Article 1 (Name)
The society shall be named University of Tokyo, Academic Collaboration Society.
Article 2 (Administration Office)
The administration office shall be located at 7-3-1 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, 113-8655, Japan
Article 3 (Objective)
The main objective of the society shall be to contribute to promoting collaborative researches and innovative creations based on discussions with researchers in different fields, and also to building a rich and secure society. The subjects of this society is all researchers and civillian, and all researches in University of Tokyo.
Article 4 (Projects)
The society shall engage in the following projects to achieve the objectives stated in the article 3;
- 1. Holding of workshops, symposiums and other meetings
- 2. Publication of a journal of the society
- 3. Activities for academic promotion
- 4. Activities for development of information society
- 5. Activities for promotion of science technology
- 6. Promotion of international exchange
- 7. Other projects necessary to achieve the society’s objectives
Article 5 (Membership)
The society shall consist of (1) individual members and (2) corporate members. Initial fee nor annual fee shall not be charged.
Article 6 (Application)
Membership of the society shall be offered to those who participate in the projects (workshops etc.) and who would like to join the society.
Article 7 (Withdrawal)
The members shall be free to withdraw from the society.
Article 8 (General Meeting)
The society shall hold General Meeting for deliberation on project report, project plan, modification of the rules and also election of president.
Article 9 (Election of board members)
President shall be elected from the society members in General Meeting. Vice-president and other board members shall be appointed by president.
Article 10 (Auditor, Adviser, Councilor)
The society shall have an auditor, an advisor and several councilors. They shall be appointed by president.
Article 11 (Income / Expense)
The society shall be mainly funded by donations from the society members and foundations. Expense for management of the society shall be covered by these incomes.
Article 12 (Accounting period)
Accounting period of the society shall run from January 1st to December 31st of the same year.
