Registration

The registration desk will be open during the following hours in the designated areas at Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa International Convention Center PAMIR.

Registration Fee

10,000 JPY
All payment must be made in Japanese yen in cash or credit cards.

Name Tag

Upon registration, each participant will receive a name tag.
There will be no admittance to the congress without the congress identification name tag.

Information for Moderators

  • Oral Session Moderators : Please arrive at the session room at least 15 minutes in advance, and make your presence known to the staff in the presentation room.
  • Poster Session Moderators : Please attach the ribbon you received at the Poster Reception Desk (3F,10F Osaka International Convention Center)to your chest, and stand in front of your poster panel at least 10minutes in advance to prepare for your session.
  • Please adhere strictly to the timetable for presentations.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Since January 2012, the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) has been complying with the Guidelines Regarding Conflicts of Interest in Clinical Research, and using these guidelines for the appropriate management of conflicts of interest (COI) resulting from involvement in collaborations between industry and academia in clinical research.
Anyone who plans to deliver a presentation at the 93st Congress of the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society is requested to comply with these guidelines and their detailed regulations.

Computer Presentation

  • Computers available at the venue:
    OS: Windows 10
    Applications: PowerPoint 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016
  • Presentation Data: You may use your own PC or media device (USB flash memory, CD-R).
    Please be sure to have only your presentation data on your media.
  • The PCs available in the presentation room are all Windows 7. Please bring your own computer if you use Macintosh.
  • We recommend that you bring your own PC if your presentation data includes moving images.
  • Please notify the operator if you use moving images or sound at your presentation.
  • During your presentation, you will be able to control your computer by using the monitor and mouse on the podium.

  • mini D-Sub15ピンIf you are bringing your own computer, the cable connector used at the venue is a mini D-Sub 15 pin.
    Please use a computer compatible with this connector. Be sure to bring an adaptor if required (Macintosh and HDMI output terminal).
  • Be sure to bring an AC adaptor for your computer in case the battery runs out during your presentation.
  • Remove screensavers and passwords and turn off energy-saving settings.
  • To prepare for the possibility that your computer may not be compatible with the projector at the venue, be sure to also bring a backup of your presentation data on a USB memory stick or CD-R.
  • Please do not use Presenter View in PowerPoint.
    Any printouts required for your presentation should be prepared beforehand. You may use the internet corner in the Business Center on the first floor of 11F,Osaka International Convention Center to print (payment required).

  • To avoid display problems, please use only standard OS fonts, such as Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier New, or Georgia.
  • The projection screen for your session has XGA resolution (1024 × 768 pixels) . Please adjust your settings for this format.
  • Moving images must be playable on Windows Media Player.
    *Moving images must be playable with the default codecs of Windows Media Player.
    WMV (Windows Media Video) format (bit rate of 10Mbps or lower) is recommended.
  • To prevent the spread of computer viruses, please always scan your presentation files beforehand with updated anti-virus software.
  • After saving your presentation file to the appropriate medium, do a trial run on another PC to make sure it works.
  • Any copies of your presentation data that the secretariat receives will be deleted after the congress.

Poster Session

Please visit Poster Reception Desk before your presentation.

  • The size of each installation space is 90cm × 160cm, as illustrated in the layout on the next page. Your presentation number will be provided by the secretariat. Prepare each poster with the author’s name, title and contents as shown in the layout.
  • The posters will be changed every day. Please install and remove your posters on the day of your presentation.
  • Pushpins and a presenter’s ribbon will be provided at your poster panel. Install your posters during the specified time on your presentation day. Any posters remaining after the scheduled removal time will be disposed of by the secretariat.
    Please be in front of your poster panel at the scheduled time for your presentation, and wear a presenter’s ribbon on your chest during the session.

Luncheon Seminar

Luncheon seminar tickets will be distributed in the vicinity of the Registration Desk, according to the following schedule. Please submit your ticket at the seminar room to receive a boxed lunch. Unused tickets will become invalid 10 minutes after the seminar starts.
